Fagot — a sunflower hybrid with a medium or early vegetation period of 100 to 119 days, allowing effective use in various climatic conditions. Plants reach an average height of about 170 cm, and the diameter of the flat, slightly inclined head ranges from 20 to 24 cm. The hybrid is characterized by high seed oil content, reaching 48–50%, and a 1000-seed mass of about 62 g, ensuring good yield potential up to 49 centners per hectare under optimal growing conditions. Fagot exhibits resistance to herbicides of the imidazolinone group (IMI), enabling effective weed control using Clearfield® technology. Additionally, the hybrid shows high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, white mold, phomopsis, phomopsis, and gray mold, as well as resistance to downy mildew.
