Description
Sunflower Factor is an early-maturing, high-yielding hybrid with a vegetative period of about 105-110 days, intended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones. It is characterized by intensive growth and stable yield, reaching up to 5.6 tons per hectare. The hybrid exhibits high adaptability to conditions of insufficient water supply, making it especially valuable for regions with limited rainfall.
One of the key features of Sunflower Factor is its genetic resistance to herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl, allowing effective application of the Express (under Granstar) technology for crop protection. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including false powdery mildew, fusarium, fusarium, rust, gray and white rot, as well as to new strains of downy mildew (A-G). This resistance significantly reduces the risk of yield loss and ensures consistent product quality.
Sunflower Factor plants reach a height of 165-190 cm, have a convex, slightly inclined head with a diameter of 18-20 cm, and contain a high oil content in the seeds — from 49 to 55%. The recommended planting density varies depending on the level of water availability: 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 50-55 thousand in moderately watered zones. Due to its combination of high yield, resistance to stress and diseases, as well as adaptability to various agroecological conditions, Sunflower Factor is a reliable choice for modern agricultural enterprises.
