Description
The hybrid sunflower Imidor is a medium-early variety with a vegetation period of about 110 days, characterized by high resistance to major diseases such as white mold, fusarium, fusarium, gray mold, and downy mildew. Plants reach a height of about 170 cm, have a head diameter of 22 cm, and oil content of 48-51.2%. Due to its adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, the hybrid demonstrates stable yield, reaching potential of 45 centners/ha, and in the Central Volga region, the average yield is about 21.8 centners/ha with maximum yields up to 30.1 centners/ha.
Imidor sunflower plants are characterized by medium height and lack of branching, with semi-downward heads of medium or large size and strongly convex seed side. Leaves of medium size with green coloration and pronounced reticulation, and strong pubescence on the upper stem part. Flowers have yellow ligulate and orange tubular tints, without anthocyanic coloration of the stigma. Seeds of medium size, narrowly oval shape, dark brown color with weakly expressed gray stripes.
To enhance seed and seedling protection for sunflower Imidor, it is recommended to use the insecticide seed treatment IMIDOR PRO based on imidacloprid (200 g/l). This product effectively controls a wide spectrum of pests and is applied directly before sowing or in advance. Use of the seed treatment improves germination and reduces yield losses, making the hybrid Imidor a reliable choice for agricultural producers in various regions.
