Hybrid L 73 is tolerant to herbicides of the imidazolinone group, allowing the use of modern plant protection technologies without the risk of phytotoxicity. It is resistant to powdery mildew, various races of the flea beetle, as well as diseases such as blackleg, downy mildew, formopsis, rust, gray rot, and white rot. Additionally, the hybrid shows resistance to sunflower moth, significantly reducing yield losses.
The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 56 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds ranging from 47% to 52%, making it attractive for high-quality oil production. The recommended planting density is up to 53 thousand plants per hectare. L 73 is suitable for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones and is well adapted to intensive cultivation technologies, including the "Clean Field" system.
