Lavrus sunflower hybrid is a mid-season variety with a vegetation period of about 110 days to harvest maturity. It is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 45 centners per hectare, and high oil content in seeds, amounting to approximately 48-49%. Plants reach a height of about 180 cm, which contributes to good development and formation of yield. Lavrus is genetically close to the hybrid Taisar, which confirms its stable agronomic performance and adaptability to various growing conditions.

One of the key features of the Lavrus hybrid is its high resistance to pests and diseases. It is resistant to all races of downy mildew from A to G, as well as to common races of false powdery mildew, including races 330, 710, 730, 334, and 734. Additionally, the hybrid tolerates the application of post-emergence sulfonylurea herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl, which facilitates weed control and helps maintain crop health.

Lavrus is suitable for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including Central, North Caucasus, Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, and West Siberian regions. The hybrid responds well to high agronomic potential, allowing for stable and high yields with proper agronomic practices.
