The plant is characterized by high stature (approximately 90-100 cm) and medium-sized flower heads with a diameter of 17-18 cm, which orient themselves half-downward when mature. Seeds are black with poorly defined gray marginal stripes; the 1000-seed weight ranges from 35.6 to 63.7 g depending on the growing region. The hybrid features green leaf coloration and no branching, contributing to plant compactness and ease of agronomic management. LG 50545 CLP is optimized for the Clearfield® Plus system and exhibits high resistance to the herbicide Euro-Lightning Plus as well as to downy mildew. It demonstrates high drought, lodging, and shattering resistance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions, including steppe and forest-steppe zones. The vegetative period is approximately 117 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to regions of the North Caucasus, the Lower Volga, Rostov Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, and certain steppe zones of Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
