LG 50479 SX — a high-yielding mid-early maturing sunflower hybrid developed by Limagrain and recommended for cultivation in central, western, northern and southern regions of Ukraine. This hybrid is characterized by high initial growth energy and adaptability to various growing conditions, including drought-prone areas. It demonstrates resistance to severe and prolonged drought, making it a reliable choice for farms using medium and intensive cultivation technologies.

The LG 50479 SX hybrid exhibits comprehensive resistance to major diseases and pests. It is genetically resistant to races A, B, C, D, E, F of downy mildew, as well as to new races of false powdery mildew. Additionally, the hybrid is tolerant to sclerotinia of the head and resistant to races A-F of the aphid.
