MANAD

MANAD is a mid-early sunflower hybrid, distinguished by its high yield and oil content. The plants reach a height of 150-160 cm, have leaves of medium size with a regular serrated edge and a lack or weak anthocyanin coloring. The disk is of medium size, 25-28 cm in diameter, half turned downward, with a flat seed side. The seeds are widely oval, black in color with grey stripes, with an average mass of 1000 seeds ranging from 57 to 80 g and shatter resistance of 21-22%. The vegetative period is 100-106 days, which allows the hybrid to successfully fit into mid-early growing periods. The MANAD hybrid is characterized by high oil content - the fat content in seeds reaches 53-54.1%, making it profitable for oil production. It is resistant to lodging and possesses genetic resistance to downy mildew, as well as increased resistance to white and grey mold, rust, Phoma, and parasitic plants. Thanks to a powerful deep-rooted root system, MANAD demonstrates high productivity even during prolonged droughts, ensuring stable yields in complex climatic conditions. For optimal growing, a sowing density of 48-55 thousand plants per hectare is recommended. The hybrid is characterized by synchronized maturation, uniform plant height, and uniform disk sizes, which facilitates agrotechnical operations and harvest collection. MANAD is one of the best representatives of French selection, combining high productivity, disease resistance, and adaptability to various growing conditions.
