Sunflower MAS 98M is a mid-late maturing oilseed hybrid with a vegetation period of about 115-120 days, developed for conventional cultivation technology. It is characterized by high productivity and stable yield even under various vegetative stress conditions. Hybrid MAS 98M is distinguished by high resistance to downy mildew (race E), lodging, drought, and tolerance to diseases such as froge, verticillium, stem and head sclerotinia, rust, and false powdery mildew (RM9). Plants are tall with convex and semi-tilted heads. Thousand seed weight is 55-65 grams, and oil content varies from 48 to 54%, ensuring high oil yield.
Recommended seeding rate depends on moisture conditions: 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, 60-65 thousand under sufficient moisture. Packaging contains 150,000 seeds, allowing sowing of approximately 2.2-2.5 hectares.
