Mastak

Sunflower Mastak is an early-maturing hybrid with a vegetation period of about 105 days, developed for the Express technology using the herbicide Granstar. This simple hybrid has a high yield potential, reaching up to 5.8 tons per hectare, and stable productivity due to maximum seed filling. Plant height is approximately 165 cm, which contributes to good growth and yield formation.

The Mastak hybrid exhibits high resistance to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, ensuring effective weed control with minimal impact on the crop. Additionally, it demonstrates excellent resistance to various sunflower diseases, including fusarium, phomopsis, rust, false powdery mildew, gray and white rot, as well as to downy mildew (volchok) of five races (A-E). Drought tolerance and resistance to lodging and shattering make this hybrid a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including steppes, forest-steppe, and meadows of Ukraine.

Oil content in the seeds reaches 51%, which is an important indicator for oilseed crops. The recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: from 50 to 60 thousand plants per hectare. Due to its characteristics, sunflower Mastak is suitable for areas with different moisture levels and ensures a stable and high yield when agronomic requirements are met.
