The vegetation period lasts 112-114 days, allowing sowing both early and at optimal times. Plants reach a height of 170-180 cm, have a thin head with a diameter of 22-25 cm, and elongated black seeds weighing 70-75 g per 1000 seeds. The hybrid’s yield potential reaches 50 centners per hectare with oil content of 50-51%. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, Phomopsis, Phomosis, and rust. Additionally, it possesses genetic resistance to 7 strains of sunflower mosaic virus and tolerance to 50 grams of the herbicide Granstar. High leafiness of plants promotes effective weed competition during the vegetation period. The hybrid also demonstrates high drought tolerance, resistance to lodging and shattering, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions. Recommended planting density varies by region: 60-65 thousand plants per hectare for forest-steppe areas, and 47-50 thousand for steppe regions. The best regions for growing the NA Surinda hybrid include Nikolaev, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions.
