NA Tasumo

The NA Tasumo sunflower hybrid is a high-yielding oilseed variety developed by the Serbian seed company NS Seme and produced by NERTUS AGRO. This mid-late maturing hybrid, with a vegetation period of 112-116 days, is adapted for cultivation using the SUMO technology and under the herbicide Granstar. Seeds are supplied in bags of 150,000 units, sufficient for sowing on an area of 2.2-2.5 hectares, and undergo fungicidal treatment for protection against diseases. The hybrid is a 2023 novelty and represents an improved version of the Sangai hybrid. NA Tasumo stands out for its high resistance to Russian sunflower moth — the hybrid is resistant to 7+ races (A-G+), providing reliable protection for crops from this pest. Additionally, it exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, such as false powdery mildew, phomopsis, phomosis, gray mold, and sunflower moth. The hybrid is also resistant to stress conditions during cultivation, including drought, lodging, and shattering, which contributes to stable yield formation. NA Tasumo has a strong stem and well-developed root system, ensuring good leafiness and enabling the achievement of high yield potential — up to 50 centners per hectare. The oil content of the seeds is 49-50%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production. Recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine, where it demonstrates high productivity and resistance to adverse factors.
