Description
NS H 452 is a high-oil hybrid sunflower developed using Clearfield technology, ensuring resistance to the parasitic plant sow thistle type A-G. The hybrid belongs to the mid-early maturation group with a vegetation period of 107 to 110 days, which allows for effective use in various climatic conditions. Plant height reaches 160-170 cm, and the head diameter is 20-21 cm, contributing to good crop formation.
The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 60 to 65 grams, and oil content in seeds is 49-51%, making this hybrid attractive for the production of oilseed products. Yield potential is in the range of 38-42 centners per hectare, confirming the high productivity of the variety. The hybrid has high resistance to major sunflower diseases: white mold, gray mold, powdery mildew, Phoma and Phomopsis, with resistance ratings of 8-9 points, as well as good drought resistance (7 points).
The hybrid producer is the breeding institute INSTITUT ZA RATARSTVO I POVRATARSTVO, as well as the company NERTUS AGRO from Serbia, which guarantees quality and a modern level of breeding. Seeds are supplied with fungicidal treatment, providing additional protection during sowing. NS H 452 is intended for cultivation in regions with various climatic conditions, including the North Caucasus region, and is suitable for intensive cultivation technologies.
