NS H 7884

Sunflower NS H 7884 is a medium-maturing hybrid developed by Serbian selection, intended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe areas of Ukraine. The vegetation period is approximately 110-114 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to the climatic features of the region. Seeds are supplied in bags of 150,000 units, sufficient for sowing on an area of 2.2-2.5 hectares. Seed treatment includes fungicide protection, which enhances plant resistance to diseases and improves germination.

Hybrid NS H 7884 is characterized by high yield and resistance to various races of downy mildew (up to 7 races, including new forms), making it especially valuable for sowing on infected and problematic plots. It is developed for use with Euro-Lightning and Clearfield technologies, enabling the application of insurance herbicides based on imidazolinyls. Additionally, the sunflower is resistant to false powdery mildew, further enhancing its reliability under adverse weather conditions.

Plants of this hybrid feature a strong root system and high drought tolerance, contributing to stable yield formation even under water scarcity. High resistance to lodging and major sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, Phomopsis, and black mold ensures crop preservation and product quality. Oil content of seeds reaches 48-50%, making the hybrid attractive for high-quality oil production.
