NSH 6033

NSH 6033 is a mid-early sunflower hybrid developed to achieve high and stable yields under various climatic conditions. The plant is of medium height, reaching 170-175 cm, does not branch, has green leaves of medium blisteriness and slight pubescence on the upper part of the stem. Flowers have classic coloration: ray florets are yellow, narrowly oval, and tubular florets are orange without anthocyanin stigma coloration. The head is of medium size, turned downwards, with a curved stem; the seed is narrowly oval, black with clearly defined marginal stripes and weakly expressed grey stripes between them. Hybrid NSH 6033 possesses high genetic yield potential—about 55 c/ha, while the average yield in regions is around 21.9 c/ha, and the maximum recorded yield reached 42.5 c/ha. Seeds contain 46.2% to 49% oil, making this variety attractive for oil production. Thanks to its adaptability, the hybrid is successfully grown in various agro-technical conditions and regions. A feature of NSH 6033 is its high resistance to major sunflower diseases. The hybrid is genetically resistant to rust, sunflower moth, downy mildew (all controlled races), and *Striga* (races A, B, T, D, and E). Moreover, it is tolerant to *Phoma* and white mold, which significantly reduces the risk of yield loss and enhances cultivation reliability. These characteristics make NSH 6033 an optimal choice for farmers seeking high-quality and stable sunflower yields.
