PETRONAS SU

PETRONAS SU sunflower is a high-quality hybrid developed for stable and high yields under various climatic conditions in Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow regions. This hybrid exhibits high adaptability to different soil types and drought resistance, making it an optimal choice for cultivation under both insufficient and adequate moisture conditions. The recommended seeding rate varies from 45,000 to 60,000 plants per hectare depending on moisture levels.

The PETRONAS SU hybrid shows high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including various races of downy mildew (races A to G), fusarium, fusariosis, gray and white mold, as well as false powdery mildew. These traits provide protection for crops and contribute to stable yields that can reach up to 50 centners per hectare. Oil content in seeds ranges from 49% to 55%, making this hybrid attractive for the oilseed industry.

The vegetation period of the hybrid lasts approximately 107-112 days, allowing for effective planning of agronomic activities.
