Powersun sunflower is a mid-early hybrid with high yield potential, characterized by resistance to high temperatures, drought, and sulfonylurea-based herbicides. Plants reach a height of 170-180 cm, have a semi-convex flower head with a diameter of 18-20 cm, which is half-bent downward. The thousand seed weight is 60-65 g, and the oil content in seeds varies from 45 to 48%, ensuring high oil yield. The hybrid's yield potential reaches 4.2 t/ha, making it attractive for cultivation under various climatic conditions.

For optimal growth and development, it is recommended to follow sowing norms: 35-40 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 50-55 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture. The hybrid demonstrates good resistance to major diseases and lodging, contributing to stable yield formation even under challenging agronomic conditions. Powersun sunflower adapts well to various soil types, including chernozems, chestnut soils, podzolic soils, and gray forest soils with neutral pH (6-7).

To enhance productivity and stress resistance, modern agronomic technologies are recommended, including pre-sowing seed treatment with growth stimulators and application of products aimed at improving carbohydrate metabolism and reducing the negative effects of adverse factors. This contributes to increased oil content in seeds and improved overall plant condition, ultimately enhancing the economic efficiency of Powersun sunflower cultivation.
