RAТ П 05 — mid-season sunflower hybrid (Helianthus annuus L.), intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions. The vegetation period is approximately 115-117 days, the plant reaches medium or medium-high height. Leaves are green, with weak or moderate blistering; ray flowers are yellow. Branching is absent, and marginal stripes on seeds are weakly expressed or practically absent. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 53.5 to 59.7 grams, indicating good seed material quality. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and stable performance. Average yield in the North Caucasus region is 23.6 ц/га, with maximum values reaching 40.7 ц/га, while in the Lower Volga region it is around 19 ц/га with maximum values up to 23.3 ц/га. In Krasnodar Krai, Belgorod, and Lipetsk regions, yield reaches 32-36 ц/га. Plant density at harvest time is 50-60 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to optimal land use and increased productivity. RAТ П 05 exhibits high resistance to downy mildew (resistance group 4, with infection level around 13.4%), as well as moderate resistance to false powdery mildew and white rot. In field conditions, the hybrid is slightly affected by dry rot but may be susceptible to rust. Oil content in seeds reaches 48.5%, making this hybrid high-oil and attractive for producing quality vegetable oil. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, RAТ П 05 is a reliable choice for agricultural producers aiming to obtain high and stable sunflower yields.
