The hybrid sunflower Ratnik is a mid-early, intensive variety with high productivity potential and excellent resistance to various diseases and adverse conditions. It is resistant to sulfonylureas, gray and white mold, as well as Sclerotinia A-G. Ratnik exhibits high resistance to lodging and shattering, ensuring crop preservation and facilitating harvest. The vegetation period of the hybrid is approximately 117 days, the 1000-seed mass reaches 60 grams, and the oil content can reach 53%. The potential yield exceeds 49 c/ha, making this hybrid attractive for cultivation in various regions of Russia. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, Volga, Lower Volga, and Ural regions. The average yield in the Central Chernozem region is approximately 27.8 c/ha, confirmed by long-term studies. Ratnik adapts well to various soil-climatic conditions and soil management systems, enabling its effective use in agrotechnologies of varying intensity. Studies show that the highest yield is achieved under the classical system of main soil preparation with fertilizer application at the rate of N60P90K60 before sowing cultivation and seedling treatment in the 6-8 leaf stage with growth stimulators such as Rost-koncentrat and Helatin oil. In this case, the hybrid demonstrates low water consumption, indicating economical water use and high resource efficiency. All these characteristics make Ratnik a reliable and productive choice for modern farmers.
