Reasun

The Reasun sunflower hybrid is a mid-late or late-maturing variety with high drought resistance and broad-spectrum disease resistance, including fusarium, fomopsis, sclerotinia, alternaria, as well as dry and gray rot and rust. It features excellent plant health and high lodging resistance, ensuring stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions. Reasun is registered in the State Register for the Volga Region and recommended for cultivation in areas with insufficient and adequate moisture.

The hybrid seeds have a thousand-seed mass ranging from 50-58 grams, with a convex flower head diameter of 20-22 cm. The ray flower color is yellow. The recommended sowing rate varies depending on conditions: under drought conditions — 35-55 thousand seeds per hectare, under optimal conditions — up to 60 thousand/ha. The yield potential reaches 5.0-5.5 tons per hectare, while the average regional yield is about 29.3 centners/ha, with potential to increase to 43.4 centners/ha under favorable conditions.

Reasun is distinguished by its high oil content in seeds — 50-52%, making it attractive for the oilseed industry. The hybrid is cultivated using the IMI (Clearfield) technology and exhibits resistance to imi-herbicides, facilitating weed control and enhancing the effectiveness of agronomic practices. Resistance to Rhizoctonia solani races A-F additionally protects crops from parasitic weeds, ensuring high productivity and quality of the harvest.
