SI LEVIS

SI LEVIS is an early-maturing sunflower hybrid developed by Syngenta, characterized by high oil content and adapted for extensive farming. It is intended for cultivation in the Lower Volga and Ural regions, as well as in poor soils, where it demonstrates stable yield and drought resistance. Due to its early maturity group, the hybrid allows timely harvest under standard moisture conditions, which is especially important for optimizing the production process.

The hybrid has high oil content, reaching 53-55%, which is one of its key advantages under limited soil and climatic potential. SI LEVIS exhibits maximum genetic resistance to downy mildew (A-G+) and additional resistance to pathogens, including new strains of false powdery mildew (FPM). This protection helps reduce the risk of yield loss and increase profitability per hectare.

The cultivation technology for this hybrid is conventional, with recommendations to maintain a specific plant density depending on soil moisture levels: from 45,000 to 60,000 plants per hectare. The hybrid is flexible regarding sowing dates and suitable for low-input farming, making it an attractive choice for farmers seeking efficient and cost-effective sunflower cultivation.
