Sprint

The Sunflower hybrid SPRINT is a very early variety with a short vegetation period, allowing it to be used in both main and post-harvest or post-cutting sowings. The plant is of medium height, without branching, with medium-sized green leaves and characteristic blistering and serration. The sunflower head is directed downwards on a strongly curved stem, with ray florets of yellow color in a narrow egg-shaped form, and tubular florets that are orange. The seeds are of medium size, narrow egg-shaped, with a black base color and brightly expressed stripes. SPRINT differs in high resistance to the main sunflower diseases, including cyst nematode, false powdery mildew, phoma, as well as basket and stem forms of white and gray mold. The hybrid is also resistant to lodging, which helps preserve the yield and facilitates harvesting. Thanks to high disease tolerance and adaptability to various natural and climatic conditions, SPRINT is successfully grown in a wide range of regions. The yield potential of the hybrid reaches 36-38 centners per hectare, while the oil content in the seeds varies from 43.5% to 49%, providing high oil collection — up to 1.6 tons per hectare. SPRINT belongs to the intensive type of hybrids, combining early maturity with high productivity, making it a profitable choice for producers seeking a stable and quality sunflower harvest.
