Description
SUFIX sunflower is a medium-early hybrid developed in accordance with modern agrotechnologies and adapted for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe conditions. It is characterized by high yield, reaching 38-50 centners/ha, and possesses good drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable moisture levels. The hybrid's vegetation period is approximately 110-113 days, and plant height reaches 170-180 cm, which contributes to the formation of large heads with a diameter of 17-24 cm, ensuring high oilseed output.
The SUFIX hybrid exhibits resistance to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium, phomopsis, powdery mildew, as well as gray and white mold. In addition, it shows low susceptibility to infection by downy mildew, significantly reducing the risk of crop losses. Due to its genetic resistance to the herbicide tribenuron-methyl (SU), used in the Granstar technology, this sunflower allows effective weed control without harming the crop.
SUFIX sunflower is recommended for cultivation using specialized agrotechnologies, such as the SU (sulfur) technology, which ensures optimal plant development and maximizes yield. The hybrid is not prone to lodging and seed shattering, facilitating harvest and improving the quality of the harvested raw material. High oil content of the seeds, reaching 48-50%, makes this sunflower attractive to the oil industry and contributes to obtaining high-quality oil.
