Supernova SU

Sunflower Supernova SU is a high-yielding hybrid designed for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polesie, Forest Steppe, and Steppe. This hybrid is characterized by early maturity and high resistance to major diseases such as froge, verticillium, sclerotinia of head and stem, as well as to downy mildew and false powdery mildew. Thanks to the Sulfo technology, the seeds provide effective weed control, simplifying agronomic operations and improving crop quality.

Supernova SU is characterized by high oil content in seeds, reaching 51–55%, making it attractive for agricultural production. The plant has a low-growing, upright stem, which contributes to resistance against lodging and facilitates harvesting. The hybrid exhibits high drought resistance, confirmed by resistance ratings of 9 points, enabling successful cultivation under water-deficient conditions.

Recommended seeding rate varies depending on soil moisture levels: from 45 to 65 thousand seeds per hectare.
