SUPLEX

SUPLEX — this is a mid-early, high-yielding hybrid sunflower of linoleic type, developed for cultivation using SU (sulfur) technology. The hybrid is characterized by high drought tolerance and is adapted for cultivation in semi-intensive and extensive conditions of the Steppe and Forest-Steppe regions. Seeds are treated with Lumissena® and Poncho® products, providing additional protection and improved germination. The yield potential reaches up to 5 tons per hectare, and oil content in seeds reaches 50-51%, making this hybrid attractive for high-quality oil production.

The SUPLEX hybrid exhibits high resistance to the complex of downy mildew pathogens (A-F), significantly reducing yield losses from parasitic plants. Additionally, it demonstrates high resistance to diseases such as fomosis, fomopsideosis, gray and white mold, and false powdery mildew. The head diameter varies from 17 to 21 cm, and the plant is resistant to lodging and head breakage, facilitating harvest and reducing seed losses.

The recommended planting density depends on moisture conditions and cultivation region: for the Steppe zone, the optimal density is 45-55 thousand plants per hectare, while for the Forest-Steppe and Polesie regions — 60-65 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid quickly releases moisture and is characterized by rapid head drying at maturity, contributing to timely and quality harvest. All these features make SUPLEX a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high yield of sunflower under various climatic conditions.
