SY Lascala

Sunflower seeds SY Lascala are a mid-season linoleic-type hybrid, optimized for both conventional and intensive cultivation technologies. The hybrid features high yield stability with potential up to 6 tons per hectare and high early growth energy, ensuring rapid and reliable plant development in early stages. Plant height reaches 150–170 cm, promoting good development and yield formation.

SY Lascala is characterized by high oil content in seeds, reaching 49–52%, making it attractive for producing high-quality oil. The hybrid is adaptable to various soil preparation methods and tolerates dry periods, allowing successful cultivation in various soil-climate conditions, except for the southern steppe. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 50–55 thousand plants per hectare with sufficient moisture and 40–45 thousand with insufficient moisture.

One of the key advantages of SY Lascala is its high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including froge, fomosis, sclerotinia (white rot), gray mold, and various rots. The hybrid also exhibits high tolerance to downy mildew, including races A to G, enabling cultivation on fields heavily infested with downy mildew.
