TC 7

Sunflower TC 7 is an ultra-early Serbian hybrid developed for effective cultivation under the herbicide Granstar technology. This hybrid features high yield potential, reaching up to 50 centners per hectare, and high oil content in seeds ranging from 50–52%. The vegetation period is 90–95 days, enabling earlier harvest and planning for subsequent crops. Plant height varies from 140 to 165 cm, ensuring good stability and ease of harvest.

TC 7 exhibits high resistance to 7+ races of downy mildew (Phytophthora), including races A–G+, as well as to major sunflower diseases such as false powdery mildew, white and gray rot, rust, powdery mildew, fusarium, alternaria, septoria, and charcoal rot. Thanks to its strong root system and high drought resistance (rating 9 out of 9), the hybrid is suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including southern and southeastern regions with insufficient moisture.

Recommended seeding density is 55,000–60,000 plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 45,000–50,000 plants per hectare under dry conditions, allowing flexible adaptation of cultivation technology to specific climatic features. High resistance to diseases and pests, along with stable productivity, make TC 7 a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sunflower yields.
