Zavit

Sunflower Zavit is a mid-early hybrid adapted to various soil-climatic conditions and levels of cultivation technology. It is characterized by high productivity and resistance to adverse factors such as drought, heat, powdery mildew, lodging, sclerotinia, and fusarium. Plant height ranges from 150 to 160 cm, vegetation period — 110–115 days, and 1000-seed mass varies between 58–61 g. The recommended planting density before harvest is 55–60 thousand plants per hectare, which helps achieve maximum yield potential.

Hybrid Zavit is characterized by high oil content in seeds — from 49 to 51%, making it attractive for producing food and technical oils. Yield potential reaches 4.2–4.3 tons per hectare, meeting modern requirements for sunflower productivity. Due to its resistance to major diseases and pests, as well as lodging, this hybrid ensures stable and high-quality yields even under challenging climatic conditions.

Sunflower is widely used as one of the main oilseed crops in Europe. Besides oil extraction, processing by-products serve as valuable protein feed for animals. Hybrid Zavit is recommended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, where it demonstrates high adaptability and efficiency.
