MAYBIKO

Maybiko F1 is a mid-early hybrid of sweet corn of Turkish selection, belonging to the sh2 type with increased sugar content. The plant is powerful, reaching a height of 190-200 cm, with the first ear forming at a height of about 60-70 cm. Maybiko cobs have a length of 20-22 cm and a diameter of about 4.9-5 cm, with 16-18 rows of grains. The grains are large, about 11 mm deep, and two-colored — white and yellow, which gives the cobs an attractive appearance. The average weight of a shucked cob is 280-320 g.

The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to lodging and stress resistance, tolerates elevated temperatures well and adapts to unfavorable growing conditions. Maybiko F1 is suitable for growing in open ground; seeds can be sown both directly and via seedlings. For uniform germination, the soil temperature must not be lower than +10 °C. Due to its qualities, the corn retains market qualities in the field and has a long shelf life after harvesting.

Maybiko F1 is versatile in application: suitable for both the fresh market and processing and freezing. Cobs are straight, well-formed, with excellent taste and quality grain covering. The seeds are treated with a fungicide and ready for sowing, which facilitates agricultural activities and increases growing efficiency.
