Maysu

Maysu is a medium-early hybrid sweet corn of Turkish origin, designed for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The plant is characterized by its strength and high resistance to lodging and stress factors, ensuring a stable and high yield. The corn reaches a height of 220-230 cm, and the first ear forms at a height of 60-70 cm, facilitating harvest.

Maysu ears are cylindrical, 21-22 cm long and 5.2-5.5 cm in diameter, containing evenly spaced, large yellow kernels measuring 9-10 mm. The number of rows varies from 16 to 18, ensuring high product quality. Thanks to the dense husk covering, the kernels are well protected, which contributes to a long storage life after harvest. The hybrid is suitable for both fresh consumption, processing, and freezing.

Maysu seeds are prepared for planting and treated with a fungicide, enhancing their germination rate and disease resistance. The hybrid demonstrates high productivity and adapts well to various soil-climate zones, including the southern steppes, forest-steppe regions, and northern areas.
