Starshine F1

Starshine F1 sugar corn is an early-maturing hybrid characterized by high adaptability to various climatic conditions and is especially well-suited for cultivation in arid regions and dryland areas. The vegetative period is approximately 71 days, and full maturity requires 824 heat units at a base temperature of 10 °C. The plant reaches a height of up to 210 centimeters, ensuring good productivity and ease of harvest.

The ear of Starshine F1 has a medium length of 22 centimeters and a diameter of about 5 centimeters, with kernels arranged in 16 rows and a depth of 12-13 millimeters. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to rust, which is a significant advantage, as this disease often affects sugar corn towards the end of the vegetative period. Additionally, Starshine F1 exhibits high resistance to the Ps race (Rp1-d) and moderate resistance to Bm and Ps, which contributes to maintaining plant health and a stable yield.

Starshine F1 is ideal for early planting in open ground and conserves resources due to its low requirement for irrigation. Thanks to its excellent immunity and adaptability, this hybrid is widely used in various regions, including Kazakhstan.
