Description
BULS BLAD is a variety of red chard, known for its rich ruby-dark-red leaf and stem coloration without white veins. The leaves retain their bright color even when temperatures drop during summer and autumn periods, and frequent cuts stimulate rapid growth of new shoots, making the plant particularly suitable for year-round microgreen cultivation.
The variety is characterized by high heat tolerance – it does not lose its color or taste even under prolonged exposure to summer sun, as well as cold hardiness during spring and autumn periods, withstanding light frosts. The vegetative cycle for a full-sized plant is about 35 days, while for obtaining microgreens it is only 18–22 days.
BULS BLAD is widely used as a fresh product: leaves can be eaten raw in salads, added to sandwiches and rolls, and also used as a decorative element for dishes. In restaurants, leaves and stems are often steamed, which preserves their taste and aroma. Thanks to its beautiful appearance and rich taste, this chard becomes a popular ingredient for creating bright and useful culinary masterpieces.
