Description
DAARUNOK pea is a mid-late shelling variety with a period from germination to technical maturity of about 67-80 days. Plants are leafless, of the vining type, with a stem height of 70-80 cm. Pods are weakly curved, of medium length 8-10 cm and width, contain 8-10 grains, arranged in 2 on the peduncle. At technical maturity, the peas have a dark green color with a papyraceous layer, are uniform in size and have excellent taste qualities. Seeds are wrinkled, small, with yellow cotyledons and increased protein content.
The DARUNOK variety is characterized by high productivity and stable yield, reaching 0.6-0.8 kg per square meter. Plants mature uniformly and possess resistance to lodging during technical maturity, as well as relative resistance to powdery mildew. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety is suitable for growing both fresh and for canning.
For planting, early spring is recommended on a sunny site with a seed sowing depth of 4-6 cm and a sowing scheme of 15x30 cm. Since the plants need support, it is important to provide appropriate conditions for their growth. The DARUNOK variety is valued for yield stability, uniform maturation, and high quality of green peas, which makes it an excellent choice for gardeners and farmers.
