Konkord

Concord zucchini is an early-maturing hybrid with ultra-early maturity, reaching 40-50 days depending on growing conditions. The fruits have a cylindrical shape, light green or pale-salad color with a slight waxy coating and light speckles. The length of the zucchini ranges from 15 to 20 cm, and the weight varies from 200 to 600 grams. The skin is thin and smooth, making the fruits especially attractive to consumers. The flesh is cream-white, very tender and juicy, ensuring high taste quality.

The plant is compact, bushy, strong, and upright, which facilitates care and harvest. Concord is well adapted for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers, preferring light and fertile soils with shallow groundwater. It is recommended to harvest the fruits when they reach the optimal size of 15-20 cm in length and 6-7 cm in diameter, ensuring the best quality and taste.

Concord zucchini is versatile in use: it is excellent for pickling, canning, processing, and storage for up to two weeks without loss of appearance and taste qualities. Especially tasty when fried.
