Host plants and diseases: This nematode primarily attacks leguminous crops, with common beans (Phaseolus) being the most susceptible host. Infestation leads to stunted growth, leaf chlorosis, and reduced root mass, which are characteristic symptoms of soil-borne nematode pressure in pulse crop production.
