Description

The genus Banchus belongs to the order Hymenoptera and the family Ichneumonidae. These insects are highly specialized parasitoids that function as essential natural control agents, significantly limiting the population growth of various phytophagous insects that threaten crops.

Their primary targets are the larvae of Lepidoptera, specifically species within the Noctuidae family (cutworms and armyworms).
