Dunlin

The Dunlin (Calidris alpina) is a small wader species within the Scolopacidae family. While primarily recognized as a coastal or wetland bird, its migratory habits bring it into contact with agricultural areas, where it can cause localized damage to crop emergence, particularly in low-lying or moist field conditions.

This bird species can interfere with agriculture by foraging on newly sown seeds that have not been adequately covered by soil.
