Host crops. This pest affects a wide range of fruit and berry crops. Primary targets include strawberries, raspberries, peaches, nectarines, and figs. The beetles are particularly attracted to crops that are already compromised by mechanical injury, sunscald, or existing fungal pathogens, which initiate the fermentation processes that lure the beetles.
