The Hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) is a marine reptile belonging to the family Cheloniidae. It is important to clarify that this species is not an agricultural pest. It resides exclusively in marine environments, specifically tropical coral reefs, and has no biological link to terrestrial agriculture or crop damage.

In terms of taxonomy, the Hawksbill falls under the order Testudines. Its diet consists mainly of sea sponges, anemones, and jellyfish. Its unique beak structure is perfectly evolved for extracting prey from crevices in coral reefs, making it entirely incapable of feeding on terrestrial crops or causing any harm to fields or garden plants.
