Eurynebria is a genus of ground beetles (Carabidae) belonging to the order Coleoptera. While many ground beetles are considered beneficial predators, the genus Eurynebria includes species that can exhibit phytophagous behavior under certain conditions, potentially posing a risk to agricultural crops, particularly during the vulnerable early growth stages of plants.

The biology of Eurynebria is closely linked to moist soil environments and high organic matter content. These beetles are primarily nocturnal, spending their daylight hours hiding in soil crevices or under plant debris. This cryptic behavior makes early detection of their presence challenging for farmers, as significant damage often occurs before the pests are clearly observed.

The life cycle of Eurynebria follows a complete metamorphosis.
