Description

Exora is a genus of insects belonging to the order Coleoptera and the family Chrysomelidae (leaf beetles). These insects are specialized phytophages, whose biological cycle is inextricably linked to the consumption of plant tissues at various stages of the plant's development.

This pest most commonly affects herbaceous plants, including vegetable and ornamental crops. The greatest damage is observed during the periods of active vegetation when insects infest the leaf apparatus, leading to a significant loss of photosynthetic surface and, consequently, a reduction in total crop yield.
