Fascista is a genus of insects within the order Lepidoptera, belonging to the family Gelechiidae (twirler moths). In agricultural practice, these moths are recognized as specialized pests that can cause significant damage to specific plant families when environmental conditions favor their rapid population growth.

These insects primarily target host plants within the Fabaceae family. Crops such as soybeans and beans are particularly susceptible to infestation. The larvae of the species are known for their destructive feeding habits, targeting leaves, buds, and pods, which can lead to severe losses in both yield quantity and quality.
