Oncocephalus is a genus of predatory insects belonging to the family Reduviidae, commonly known as assassin bugs. Unlike typical herbivores, these insects are specialized predators, which means their impact on agriculture is complex, often involving the suppression of beneficial insects as well as pests within various agroecosystems.
