Pimpla maculator is a species of parasitic wasp belonging to the family Ichneumonidae within the order Hymenoptera. While many ichneumonid wasps are beneficial as parasitoids, this species can act as a problematic agent in agricultural systems when it targets populations of beneficial insects that are essential for the natural control of crop-damaging pests.
