Description

Host plants. This pest primarily infests cereal crops, including wheat, barley, oats, rye, and sorghum. It is also capable of surviving on various wild grass species, which serve as crucial reservoirs for the aphid population throughout the growing season.

Biology and life cycle. The Greenbug reproduces through parthenogenesis during the active season, allowing for rapid population growth under favorable weather conditions.
