Fosamine

Fosamine (most commonly formulated as fosamine-ammonium) is a selective systemic herbicide and plant growth regulator belonging to the chemical class of phosphonic acid derivatives. It is widely used as a broad-spectrum herbicide designed for the control of unwanted woody plants and brush species.

The mode of action of fosamine relies on its ability to penetrate plant tissues through leaves and stems.
