This technology is primarily used for planting, seeding, and spraying, where high accuracy reduces overlaps and gaps, thereby optimizing the use of fertilizers and seeds. Using RTK systems allows farmers to improve efficiency and minimize input costs across the entire crop cycle.
Common implementation errors include poor site selection, such as positioning the antenna near tall structures or trees that obstruct the signal, and unstable internet connectivity for the data link. To ensure consistent performance, the base station must be securely mounted and regularly verified against known coordinates.
