The primary symptoms of this infection include the development of necrotic lesions on the leaves. Initially, these spots appear as small, chlorotic or discolored areas. As the fungus matures, these spots expand and turn dark brown or black, often leading to the eventual chlorosis and necrosis of the entire leaf blade. In advanced stages, one may observe fungal fruiting bodies appearing as small, dark pustules on the undersides of the leaves.
