Their biological cycle involves the production of mycelium on the host surface and the development of specialized infectious structures.

The host range of Brasiliomyces includes various tropical and ornamental plant species, as well as several trees and shrubs. The infection primarily targets leaves, young stems, and flowers, disrupting the plant's metabolic processes and weakening the overall vigor of the host organism.
