The primary hosts of this pathogen are eucalyptus species (Eucalyptus spp.), although it can affect a variety of other broadleaf woody plants in nurseries and commercial plantations. The economic impact is significant, particularly in forest management, as the disease can compromise the growth and survival rates of seedlings during their most vulnerable developmental stages.
